Mrs. Davis don't like to be told what she can't do. She gets up at four o'clock and drives to work to clock in by six 0'clock each morning. She is a designer and is working on making a pea coat. She is learning Spanish, has four websites, refill the machines for her vending company, writes poetry and still finds time to paint landscapes to name just a few of the things she does. Did I say she will be 92 in October!

Be your own best friend and love that friend. Never ever, put yourself down or minimize your self worth for anyone.

This Morning!
I had the ocean wash my feet while the sun bathe my face. The wind gently enfold me with love and as it passed it left whispers of sweet nothings in my hear.

On The Inside!
I may be damaged and dented but there is something sweet and delicious on the inside!

Achiving 100 - Louise Ricks
Mrs. Ricks was telling me who was in the pictures on the table. She is the only one still living from those family photos. There is a photo of her parents, sisters and brothers. Many of the photos are over 100 years old. The photos include her grandparents and great grandparents. She knows the value of family photos and the history the photos hold.
Achiving 100 - Louise Ricks
Mrs. Ricks is 98 1/2 years young. She will become a centenarian on July 17th, 2012. She still rides MARTA to her doctor appointments and they find it hard to believe that she comes alone. She says it is hard for her not to be independent. She cooks for herself and is looking forward to planting her own garden on 'Good Friday.'

I Miss You!
My eyes miss seeing you, my lips miss kissing you, my ears miss hearing you, my arms miss hugging you. My heart loves you more. I miss you!

Sun Light Gives Me Hope!
Never Enough!
Serve the people and I will be rewarded. I will be rewarded with a guaranteed bus pass, government assistant, and living in poverty. My children will be afforded the opportunity to go to the worst schools in the system and if they are lucky, they will be the first in the family to receive a GED. $2.13 for serving you is NEVER enough!
